Hiking at Lake Achensee
When spring arrives at Lake Achensee and alpine blooms begin to open toward the sun, the hiking season kicks off. Enjoy the warmth of the early sunshine as nature awakens after the long winter. The region’s cable cars begin running in May, which also marks the start of the Lake Achensee guided hiking programme.
Mountain Biking & Cycling
Whether you are a leisure cyclist or an ambitious mountain biker, Lake Achensee holds a magical allure in spring. As nature awakens, the flat lakeside paths are ideal for an easy ride. Once snow conditions allow and routes officially open from April onward, the first alpine trails also beckon.
Achenseeschifffahrt
From May onward, the Achenseeschifffahrt fleet invites you to enjoy leisurely cruises across the deep-blue lake. In addition to flexible hop-on, hop-off tickets, the schedule features special event cruises – including brunch on the water.
Achensee Holiday Card
Available from May to late October, the Achensee Holiday Card allows you to experience the full diversity of the region for seven consecutive days at an all-inclusive price. Enjoy scenic lake cruises with the Achenseeschifffahrt, ride the panoramic cable cars, visit fascinating local museums and explore the Swarovski Kristallwelten as often as you like.
Golf Holidays at Lake Achensee
The golf courses at Lake Achensee open for the new season in early May. Both courses – in Pertisau and Achenkirch – blend seamlessly into the surrounding alpine landscape. The 9-hole course in Achenkirch is an easy stroll from PUREST Alpine Hideaway.
Tennis & Padel
Just a short walk from our suites, TC Raiffeisen Achenkirch features three outdoor clay tennis courts and a brand-new padel court. Weather permitting, the well-maintained facility opens in late April or early May. We would be happy to reserve a court for you.
Culinary Experience in Spring
Depending on weather and snow conditions, the region’s mountain huts and alpine pastures open from May onward. Settle onto a scenic sun terrace, soak in the warm sunshine, and take in the panoramic mountain views while enjoying a hearty alpine specialty.
